Certified Patient Account Representative (CPAR)
Healthcare Compliance is being in accordance with established guidelines or specifications. The definition of compliance can also encompass efforts to ensure that organizations are abiding by both industry and government legislation. Compliance planning is essential and mandatory within the healthcare system. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in 2010, requires that all healthcare providers applying to enroll as Medicare providers have a compliance program in place. The compliance program must be more than a document adopted by the governing body and reviewed once per year. All healthcare providers have to build a culture of compliance and code of conduct within their organization. This course will detail the concepts of Compliance and structuring a Compliance Program.
