Certified Patient Account Representative (CPAR)

Primary care practices are the backbone of the healthcare system and primary care physicians are most often directly responsible for referring patients to specialists. They are responsible for supplying prevention strategies and day-to-day care to their patients and for recognizing when their patients require a different and/or specialized level of care. All medical practices must have governing policies and standard operating procedures for a variety of operational areas. These policies/procedures are critical to managing the work force. This course will detail the concepts of a successful physician practice to include pre-service, point of service and post service aspects of physician revenue cycle.
